yoga

Question Posted Friday August 7 2009, 2:42 am

I'd like to start yoga once I get into college which will be in 14 days. I don't want to do a class although I know they have them at my college's gym. How can I get started on my own and what are some good tips? I'm looking for a chance to meditate and just relax and also to increase my flexibility.

There are a ton of really great Yoga Videos on Youtube. Just type in Yoga for beginers. I have done some, or morning yoga...you can also get videos from video stores or amazon.com...just make sure it's for beginers cause that is some serious stuff hahaha

Will you have a T.V? If so, try Comcast OnDemand. I use their Yoga programs and I love it!

If you can't do that, go to Target (that's where I got my Yoga mat) and buy a mat. They also have a ton of DVDs you can buy, which I'd recommend. This way, you can do it any time in the comfort of your own room :)

Have fun!
