my boyfriend had that same issue for like ever everytime we tried to do it with me on bottom. one thing that we figured out works is me being on top. it really makes it so that his penis has no where else to go but in. haha. after we did it with me on top for a while we tried me on bottom again and it worked and now it works everytime :P so , thats just a suggestion.

He's probably nervous, and telling him it's a total turnoff will only make him even more nervous, and probably really self conscious, too.
Just be patient with him and re assure him that it's ok (even if it does bother you). At least you have a great guy, regardless of his male issues :)

Hmmm sometimes my guy has the same proble and he is really good :) It's dark down there haha, maybe (if you don't) you could shave a little more...not bare but maybe keep it at like an inch or two, that helps...getting wetter before you let him get ready to put it in, that helps, you can help guide it, that really helps! haha We mostly have that problem when he is going from the back and what I hate is that he get's it in and then he pulls it out trying to be sexy and tease me, which would work if he could find it again easily hahahaha...just communicate with him...and you may have to help guide it in...you know make it sexy for your self...rub it on your clit while you are guiding it in... that helps and feels good. having a low light on, using some lube, spreading your legs open more...stuff like that :)
