Michael Jackson may have overdosed on Propofol? What is Propofol?
I keep hearing about Michael Jackson's doctor prescribing propofol to him before he died and that the doctor may have overdosed him. Just curious, I guess, but what in the world is propofol? Is it prescribe for pain or something since Michael Jackson had all of those facial operations? I've never heard of this drug before.

he was having problems sleeping.. i dont know to much about it but the doctor shouldnt have gave it to him period.

It's a drug that should never be administered outside of a hospital. It's a powerful drug that you get in an IV to knock patients out so they aren't awake or feeling anything during an operation. it has no purpose other than that and can kill in constant dosage like Jackson got.
He abused it to deal with insomnia. The doctor giving it will be up on manslaughter charges most likely and be unable to practice medicine afterwards.

propfol is used in operating rooms to make pepole go into a very heavy sleep, almost unconcious. michael was using it to sleep at night.

It was to help Michael sleep, I think.
