Fashion Internship?

Question Posted Tuesday July 21 2009, 9:53 pm

I am 13/F and I want to be a fashion photographer or fashion stylist. I looked online under the internship requirments and I seem to fit them (good attitude, powerpoint proficent, hard worker). My mom says you have to be over 18 to work as an intern but according to Nickelodeon's "True Jackson- VP", it looks like you could be 13 or 14. Please help and solve my crisis!

Everything on TV shows aren't real. So I would just work on that for a while and keep working on it and improving it till you can do that for sure and true jackson is 15. hope this helps!

Internships usually happen in the late teens. Most start at 18 but there are some that start sooner if you're lucky and depending where the internship is.

True Jackson VP is a tv show. It does NOT pertain to REAL LIFE. It is fiction, and based on fantasy. In no way would that ever happen in real life. Please learn to seperate reality from TV.

Most internships require an age between 16 and 18, in order to satisfy child labor requirements.

Also, don't believe everything you see on TV sweetie :)
