I don't know what's wrong with me! But everytime I read a book or try to study I can't seem to remember what I read =/ I know how to read its just I have a hard time remembering what happend and I can't seem to picture what's going on in the book inside my head like some people claim do. I'm trying to study for my permit test and I read the book like legit 7 times but I forget what I read everytime I'm done with it. Is this some kind of mental health??
I've actually tried doing the studying online. On the DMV's website, they usually have practice tests. Those are a lot more fun. :) Whatever information isn't in the test, you can find in the book & just read that. I'm sure once you take the tests & are confident with the results, you'll find reading the book a bit easier. :) [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

I know what you're talking about. Usually, studying isn't just reading something a hundred times. Trust me, I've tried it and it doesn't work. The only way that works is if you're genuinely interested in what you're reading and I doubt you're really interested in permit test stuff. Try to actually think about what you're reading and understand it. Think about not just reading word by word but what the words and the content mean and are trying to say.
