Trust me :]
some cute things you could say could be...
- Hey you :] i was wondering what you were doing ? :]
... that will show that you are thining about him.
- I miss talking to you and i miss you in general :] :/
... my boyfriend likes when i say that 'cause he knows i honestly do miss him
- I miss your facee :]
... self explanatory hahaa
- I wish you were here with mee
Just simple things you say will really put a smile on his face, you can call him cute occasionally to, they like getting complimented :] haha, they think it's "cute" take my word for itt. haha. Also, if you find a cute song that reminds you of him, you can be like, i heard this song and it totally reminds me of youu. then tell him to look it up, boys liek it when you're thinking of them or tings remind you of them.
Hope I helped, good luck and have fun ! if you need anything else, feel free to inbox me :] xxo. [ itdependsonyoux3's advice column | Ask itdependsonyoux3 A Question ]

You can text him during the day and say something like "Just thinking of you...what are you up to?" You can text him when you see something that reminds you of him, and let him know what you saw and that it reminded you of him.
And don't be nervous about texting him, I'm sure he's just as nervous, too!
