I want to play the guitar but...
I want to learn how to play the guitar but my sister wont let me. She thinks its her thing and nobody else can do it but her. I really want to start to learn and since drum sets are expensive this is an alternative that i still would have done if i were playing the drums. I only have 1 guitar in my house and its my sisters so i cant really do anything. Help please

If you want to learn to play, then learn to play. As long as you're not copying everything your sister does (because trust me, it's the most IRRITATING thing ever to be constantly copied) then forget about what she thinks.
Learning to play an instrument is an awesome thing; your sister shouldn't take that away from you.

bein musically rounded is a great thing to do. tell your sister she didnt invent the guitar and she cant call the right to it. and like the advicenator before me , drum pads are good because its almost like bein at a drum , just not the noise.
stand up for youself if you really wanna play guitar. its your prerogative ! do what YOU wanna do :)

well i play drums.
and all you eed is a practice pad and pretend your at a drumset.
then once you get the money you can buy a drumset.
that's just somethin you could think about.
but besides that, your sister isnt the boss of you. do what you want!
if you wanna learn the guitar, go right ahead.
she can't stop you.
