Actually, donot listen to meriFTW
You take unique pictures, doing anything creative in them
Then photoshop the hell out of them
If you dont have Photoshop, I suggest buying it.
Photoshop them like this -
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

The clearer and brighter the picture, the better
Add a ton of layout myspaces, apply for them
If they like what they see, they will use you
Sometimes THEY might add you, and ask to use you
If you want to go very public with sitemodeling, put that you site model in your headline or somewhere on your profile

My resources? I've seen it done more times then probably anyone.

If someone's looking for a site model (such as contest sites, or layout sites) you just ask to model for them.

Just take pictures & that's about it.

I am a site model, myself.
Basically, you take pictures of yourself,
but don't edit them.
Upload them to Myspace in a separate album.
Use "SM" infront of your name.
Example: SMMeredithDawn.
Add a bunch of layout sites, and
apply as a sitemodel for them.
They will either accept of reject you.
Or, they will just use your picture,
sometimes without even asking
or applying.

Glad to help.(:
