Msn gone? The icon for MSN has disappeared from my computer. I have looked everywhere and I can't find it. It's been gone for a while but I'd managed because I was using Guest account because MSN comes up automatically on there. But I've gone back to my normal computer account and it's still not here. I recently lost everything on my computer (due to step-dads knowing nothing!!!!! :@). I can't reinstall it because its not in Programs/Features where I can uninstall it. So I can't install it again from msn.com because it says I already have it downloaded.
But I do know it hasn't gone, just the icon or anything just to get onto MSN.
Any ideas??

Do NOT unplug the computer and turn it on again like the guy below me told you to, unless you want to risk breaking your computer. There are always better alternatives.
All right, since you know about Program/Features, then I will assume that you know quite a bit about computer and have checked your "Program FilesWindows LiveMessenger" ("Program Files (86)Windows LiveMessenger", if you're running 64-Bit Windows) folder and still unable to find msnmsgr.exe
And you've also check Start--->All Programs--->Windows Live--->Windows Live Messenger but still unable to find it.
So, to uninstall your old one, in your Program/Feature, look for "Windows Live Essential" and run it.

Windows Live Essential will run you through the uninstall process where you can uninstall your old MSN. ]
Mine goes missing now and then too. I can usually get it to come back by unplugging the computer and starting it up again. You may have already tried that, but just in case...thought I'd mention it. :)
EDIT*
I wasn't aware that I risked "breaking" my computer by unplugging it. Didn't know that once plugged in unplugging was taboo...so, do this at your own risk.
HOWEVER, I have been unplugging mine at least once a week for 7 years without incident.
Oh, and I'm not a guy either. ]
