--The amount of muscle and body fat that you have! When you are starved, your body will find other "stuffs" to survive off of. And apparently it finds that muscles and fat are some good "stuffs."
--Your metabolism baseline! Starvation slows down your metabolism. So basically, if your metabolism is already slow, you've got some advantage.
--And then there are some other factors such as your location and temperature (e.g. a desert vs. your room), what you have to do, etc.
--Last but not least, your WILL POWER!!! (Question is: what kind of will would you have then? The will to survive? Or is it the will to enjoy your last moments of life to the fullest?)
Anyway, depend on those factors, a person may live for about 4 to 6 weeks at minimum, and about 25 to 30 weeks at maximum. Of course, this is only an estimate. No test (that I know of) has been conducted yet. [ ThirdQED's advice column | Ask ThirdQED A Question ]
