How to be a dental hygentist.

Can somebody tell me the classes i'll need to take, and how long it'll be for me to be able to try to get hired?
I would like to be a dental hygentist;
But I just don't know what I need tod o in order to get this.

I am from NC. Here, private dental schools as well as community colleges offer degrees in dental hygiene. It is generally a two year program. Students take general ed classes (such as english, math etc) as well as classes like orofacial anatomy and the like for their program requirements. States have different laws governing this my advice would be to implore a local community college. best of luck!
