BahaiMa22 answered Friday June 26 2009, 3:53 pm: There isn't much you can do but take him/her to a vet because unless the cat is seen by a veternarian the problem will not be treated properly. The most common reasons for coughing in cats are asthma, heartworm disease, roundworm migration, and lungworms which all can be very painful.
