I was wondering, is there a way to trick the body into thinking that it ISN'T starving. Like if I am consuming 1200-1500 cal a day but I am like eating 3 meals instead of like 5 or 6, could I do something like have a slice of cheese or a slice of meat every hour or maybe like a slice of something every hour that way my body doesn't plateau in weight loss?

Your stomach thinks it's full when, well, it's full of food. Your brain thinks you're full when you've consumed a certain amount of food. If you eat quickly, your stomach fills up, but your brain doesn't really register the fact that you're eating a lot of food. Chew slowly, it almost tricks your brain into thinking that you're eating a lot. And sip water between bites, this does the same thing.

The problem is that the amount of food that you're giving your body on that few calories and that few meals is not enough to keep it going until the next meal without making you feel hungry. If you have less to eat but eat more often during the day, you'll minimize the feelings of hunger. Also, this has the added boost of helping to increase your metabolism.
