So yeah I'm turning 15 soon. I like this guy. He's older than me though. He's 17. I'm friends with his sisters and everything. I think that's why I started liking him in the first place. We've gotten sorta close in being friends. I could tell him anything and could trust him. He tells me to tell him who I like. Heh, I can't exactly do that when its him. First of all, I don't want to ruin the friendship, he's going to be a senior and I don't really want to go out with him. I really like him though. Honestly, I don't want to. But I see him as a good friend. But I like him more than that.
We flirt with each other all the time. But its just little things that don't mean anything. He thinks I'm cute and everything. And that's what gets me. Is there any way I can get over him? Thanks for any help.

I have 2 experiences close to this hahah. First, i was on vacation with my family friends. There is a girl who is one year younger than me and her brother is one year older than me. Well, i ended up getting with him and she was so pissed. She got mad for like a month but then she got over it because i didnt do anything else with him. We both liked each other but decided it was better if we stopped bc he didnt want to ruin me and his sisters friendship. He told me he still lieks me a little but im over that haha
another thing is i am a freshman haha, im turning 15 in october. and im going to be a sophmore next year. I am dating a 16 year hold and he is turning 17 in september. He is going to be a senior next year. Honestly, it depends on the guy. I have been with him for almost 6 months and he hasnt tried to pressure me into anything, and he genuinely likes me for me. He is a perfect gentleman and buys me flowers and is sweet. Ive met his family and everything. So for me, i dont even remember the age difference.
So first of all, i would discourage it because you are friends with his sisters and they may be pissed that you are with him. But i wouldn't write him off completely because of his age. Talk to his sisters and tell them that you kinda like him. See what they say. If they get pissed say you wont do anything or tell him. If they dont care, id say go with it. I know you asked for a way to get over him, but i dont think you should yet. Talk to them. See how it works out.

You should remind yourself about your age difference. In your teens, that 2 years is a lot. He'll be off to college in a year having new experiences and meeting new people in life totally different from high school. You two would be on 2 different wavelengths. Also, he'll be turning 18 when you're still 15 and i'm pretty sure that's illegal in almost every place. You wouldn't want to get him in trouble.
You have a good friendship, so just enjoy that. There will be other guys. Chemistry like that will happen when a guy and girl are friends a lot. But it's not always worth acting on. Sounds like you treasure the friendship aspect more than anything completely romantic. Leave it at innocent flirting and find a guy closer in age and much more suitable for your situation.
