Watch what you eat. Whenever you crave junk food, eat fruits or veggies instead. (Strawberries in sugar taste just like candy!) Eat when you're hungry, not when it's lunch or dinner time. Chew slowly, and sip water between bites. Being full depends on both your brain and your stomach; when you chew and swallow food quickly, your brain lets you eat a lot more than you normally would, because it doesn't think you're consuming much food. Chewing slowly and drinking water lets your brain know how much you're eating.

Also: I'm a bit concerned (sorry about the lecturing) about "no matter what the health risk is." Don't forget, health issues will last much longer than the effects of that pool party. Losing weight is (usually) a good thing, but please be smart about it! Don't hurt yourself.

yea you need to tone your oblique muscles. I found the most effective way is to lay on your back, bend your knees then let your knees both fall to one side (one knee on the ground, the other resting on that knee). Then do a crunch towards the opposite side your knees are facing. If you really want to tone your obliques do a least 200 (in sets of 25) of these about 4 times a week.

Also this will only tone the muscle, but in order to burn the fat in that area you must do cardio. This is the biggest misconception people have about doing ab exersives. They do 500 cruches and wonder why nothing happens. Its because toning mucsle really does not burn fat. So along with your cruches try and run, swim or do some other form of cardio 4-5 times a week.

Sorry this was pretty long. I hope you understood my crunch description, I found it very difficult to explain with out a picture lol. Hope I could have helped!

well if youre doing crunches and its your love handles are the problem, when you do sit ups instead of coming straight up go to the side to where if your hands are crossed behind your head your elbow touches your opposite knee.
