You asked a few different questions- I'll answer them all as best I can.

Waxing- I suggested this before because it's easy, quick and affordable. It can also be done either at your home by yourself (they should sell the wax and strips- home kits- all over) or you can have it done for you at salons.

Threading is kind of like plucking, it's just a different way to pull the hairs out.

It really depends on what your preference is. For me personally, I'd rather just put one strip of wax on and have it all over and done with in one go like you can with waxing. It also allows you the benefit of doing it in the privacy of your home since that seems to be a concern. I've never heard of someone threading themselves- I think this is something you usually get done.

As far as people seeing you- I'm not quite sure what you mean here. Do you mean someone seeing you going to get hair removed at a salon?

If so, that depends on what kind of place you go to. If you go to a salon that does hair, nails and a lot of other things too then no one knows what service you went in for. So don't go to a place that JUST does hair removal.

Next question- is it permanent? NO. You have to keep doing it as it grows back. The only thing that *can* be permanent that I know of is lasar hair removal. This is pretty expensive, you have to go several times and then it *might* not grow back. So unless you have plenty of money to spend I wouldn't waste it on something that MIGHT work.

As for hair growing back thicker- the only thing you really need to worry about with that is if you try to shave it. Then it will get all prickly and stubbly and will seem thicker. So don't shave it.

I think something you can do at home by yourself is best. That way if you notice something and need a quick touch-up before you go out you can do it on your own. That's why I suggesting waxing. But it's really a matter of personal choice. You can try different things and see what works best for you.

PS- If you do go with waxing try to look for some of the new kinds that don't leave a sticky residue afterwards. The better wax will wipe right off. I don't know what brands they have in India but someone at the beauty store can tell you which ones are the best.

I hope I answered some questions for you. Good luck. And don't feel bad about this. You seem to be a little insecure about it, which is understandable. But believe me, EVERY woman in the world has hair in some places that they don't want!
