It just might drive you crazy. What I would advise you to do is to just keep those things in the back of your mind and look for opportunities. Check into a local university to see if they offer any programs where you can take classes you might be interested in. For instance, the University where I live offers a program called "Continuing Education" that offers everything from Baking classes to Yoga, and they are much, much cheaper than enrolling in an actual college class.
If you're unable to do this right now, start by going to the library and checking out some books on subjects you want to learn about. Read a book on how to take good photographs, or baking, or mountain climbing. You can also use the internet to start learning.

I don't think they have anything about Mountain Climbing, but you can look. They have things about white water rafting, hiking, kayaking, and other outdoor activities, though. You can start out with hiking and work your way to rock climbing. You have to start small, and not expect yourself to run before you can crawl.
When it comes to volunteering, I don't know what kind of causes are important to you, but it would be a lot easier if you found some organization to be a part of. See if there is a local chapter of some volunteer organization you would care about. [ NoCandy's advice column | Ask NoCandy A Question ]

Bake a dessert for your family once or twice a week. Start with the things you know you can do without to much stress. It takes time to become good at things. And if you wanna change your style start off wearing a different style shirt or shoe and just keep changing everything gradually until you get to a style that you are comfortable with. If you want to volunteer you can always ask someone you know who does it and if you don't know anyone who does then look up some information online. Don't start with the hard things like mountain climbing. You need to work out to prepare for that so you won't hurt yourself. Don't think of it as being goals you can't do, think of it in the easiest way possible and no that you can do whatever you set your mind to. Just don't procrastinate for too long. Hope i helped :) [ marinesister5's advice column | Ask marinesister5 A Question ]

Start small...try baking something new once a week. Don't overdo it by thinking you have to know everything about baking. Do it for fun and as an activity. For photography: read up on some sites on techniques, lighting...etc and have a photoshoot with some friends. Even gardening...if you are into that: plant a set of flowers in your yard. Don't focus too much on one activity. Take the time to learn which of these bring out the best in you and make you feel alive! Good luck! [ LiSaxOBaBii's advice column | Ask LiSaxOBaBii A Question ]
Darby answered Friday May 29 2009, 2:54 pm: Just takes things one or two at a time. It's summer now so it's the perfect time to start some of these things. Take driver's ed classes or have one of your parents teach you how to drive after you get your permit. To get the permit handbook, go to your local DMV. Study the book, then take the test. It's very easy.
At the same time, you can volunteer somewhere. Taking the driver's permit test won't take much of your time. Study for a week, take the test, you'll get your permit, you can start driving with a parent. It's a quick process. Then you can focus on volunteering. Go to this site to find volunteer opportunities near you:
That would be two things off the list. Then changing your fashion style would be easy too. If you typically dress preppier, get some grungier shirts and get a haircut. Where your makeup a tad bit darker and there your style has changed completely. If you typically dress grungier, get a couple name brand shirts and lighten up your look a little.
