attracting clingers

Question Posted Tuesday May 26 2009, 11:14 pm

For some reason, I attract clingy, pushy guys. I'm 20/F and I'm upfront that I don't want a relationship at this point. So when I flirt/hookup with guys, they call and call and don't stop. I try telling them I'm busy or ignoring the call, but they're relentless! How do I go about handling this? I don't want to hurt anyone and it's not like I want to stop seeing them completely, but it'd be nice if they backed off a bit. How should I approach this and what can I say to them without being hurtful?

If i were you i would just tell them that you are not looking for a serious relationship, you dont mind seeing them etc but you do not want anything serious out of it. Tell them that if what they want is something serious..then they have the wrong girl :) This way you are not leading them on .. they know how you feel so what they choose to do is up to them.. :) Good luck! x
