I would totally just get a really pretty sun dress at like macys or forever 21. They're usually super cheap and look ah-mazing (:

A dress within the season. Preferably a summer dress or a spring type dress. You can try looking at stores like Forever 21 and Wet Seal for ideas. They usually have nice stuff. :)

at my eighth grade graduation most girls wore either a really dressy, in-style spring "outfit" or a spring season dress. most of the dresses were about knee-length, and quite a few of them were halter-tops or sundresses. (you dont want to be too low-cut on top in middle school) alot of them had alot of greens, blues, and flowery colors. but not in an old-lady way haha. look in belk, macys, and JC penneys. some can get a litttle pricey. just dont overdo it. you dont want to look over-dressed or anything :) hope i helped. 17/f

You don't want to overdo it. This is eighth grade graduation, not prom. You don't want to be overdressed, ya know? You should be looking for a casual, cute dress. You don't want it to be too short or too long.

Check out these dresses:

Something like this with the tights underneath would also be appropriate:
