What kind of drug is smoked using a soda can? What type of side effects does it cause and symptoms to look for and for how long does the effect last? Signs to look for if you think someone is doing this?

Chances are you would smoke weed using a soda can. The side-effects would include dry mouth, hunger (the munchies), and bloodshot eyes. You would feel a little disoriented but nothing major. A lot of people people believe it is okay to even drive while high (although I will not recomment that!!!!) The effects will last an hour to a couple of hours depending on how high they get. Weed is the most common. Theres usually a smell associated with it. Blood shot eyes are common but not universal. Lidded eyes are more common (the half squint, sleepy eyed look) and slowed speech and mental processes, or random simple mistakes can all be clues.
Other things that can be smoked out of pipes can be smoked out of cans. Meth is probably possible, crack is definitely possible. You'll know they're on something if its one of these two. Jitters, extreme caffinated behavior or large abnormal increases in energy and motivation, often not directed at anything in particular. Nervousness or paranoia.
Regardless, smoking out of a can is incredibly terribly bad for you. The reason people smoke out of glass is because heated glass does not shed parts of itself for you to inhale. Soda cans if used long enough can begin to melt (meaning you inhale aluminum) and even if they don't, you're inhaling burnt paint. All the crap they use to make the designs on the side of the can.
Very, very bad for you. Probably very carinogenic. Like, inhalants kill your braincells with many similar compounds bad, and you can fuck up your head as well as your body.
So, if you know someone who is using coke cans. talk to them about it. If they aren't going to stop smoking, make them go buy a pipe. Smoking out of a coke can is about on par with using dirty needles to shoot heroin.
Its just bad all around.

its mostlikely weed. my early days of smokin i used to smoke out of a can. aluminum doesnt do much, its the same as smokin out of a pipe. gettin high usually lasts an hour or two, and depends on how much you smoke. then youre just tired after that. if you see a can thats bent at somepoint around the middle, with holes in it and burnt in that area, then theyre smokin weed out of a can.

marijuana (better known as dope) can be smoked in a soda can. It doesnt have many side affacts exept making the person very calm, it depends on how much you inhale for how long it last. the signs are slurred voices and blood shot eyes for as far as i know. for more info. heres a website:
