Red eyes

Question Posted Monday April 13 2009, 8:28 am

Hi, I've been sick with a pretty bad fever for... maybe 4 or 5 days? and I've noticed my eyes are really red and glazed. I have two questions:

1. Is that normal?
2. How do I get rid of it?

Thanks!

Hi,
no, that is not normal by any means. I don't know how high your fever is, but it is a sign of infection. It could be as simple as a cold, strep, or something else. If over the counter medicine hasn't helped and if it is accompanied by pain, please see a doctor. You may need an antibiotic. I hope I helped and I hope you get well soon.
