Does anyone have any weight loss success stories?
I work out 4x a week, drink nothing but water, and eat pretty healthy and can't seem to lose a pound. I'm losing all my motivation.
Anyone got any good inspirational stories of their own so I don't result to starving myself again?

Vivienne answered Sunday April 12 2009, 10:40 am: the trick to weight loss is not simply a healthy diet and exercise, you need to actually burn more calories per week than your body uses to break even. say your body needs 2000 calories to use per day, and you burn calories 2000 4 days a week. your weekly calorie consumption is 11900. this is the number of calories per week that is keeping you going, not gaining or losing weight. if your not losing weight you need to lower the weekly number of calories taken in. do this by exercising 6 days a week, and cutting your diet down by 250 calories less per day.(never go below 1200 if your a girl, never go below 1500 if your a guy) you should see some mild changes withing a month or so. if you apply your information to this concept, you will probably lose 1 to 2 pounds per week, depending on your metabolism. if you screw up a week, dont sweat, you wont lose any weight that week, but you wont gain any either (probably) [ Vivienne's advice column | Ask Vivienne A Question ]
