I need Ideas on how to raise money for Non-Profit Charity.

Question Posted Thursday April 2 2009, 2:05 pm

I need help figuring out a few ideas that are not costly.
I have opened a new charity and need some inexpensive fund raising ideas. It has cost me out of pocket too much already so I have to watch expenses or I'll go broke.

I also need a few local volunteers to distribute paper materials and live in the Atlanta, Ga area.
You can contact me regarding this position at:

You could have a yard sale and ask residents of Atlanta to donate items to be sold. Another variation would be a neighborhood yard sale held in a large parking lot and set a fee for participants to pay for a space to sell their used goods. You could also hold an auction with various merchants donating a service to be auctioned off for charity, etc..Also if you are in need of volunteers contact your judicial courts and see if your non profit organization can be used for low level offenders to work off community service or fines.

i can only help with the idea's part becsause i don't live in Atlanta. so, here are somethings that you can do, Bake sale, library gathering for an author to read there book, a get together, a walk athon.

i hoped this helped. they aren't expensive but a little time consuming.
