Excessive Sweating

Question Posted Thursday April 2 2009, 7:32 am

Is there anything to do about excessive sweating? I'm a girl, and i play sports, and i always sweat SO much, like way more than everyone else. It's really gross...is there anything I can do to help?

Ah, so do I!

First, use deodorant, and Oder Eaters footspray do subtract the stench.. wear breezy clothes that can breathe and tie up all of your hair.

Then, remind yourself.. Everyone sweats! The more you sweat, the harder you're trying. People can't say "eww she's sweating a lot!" because that's basically saying "she's really trying to achieve her goal" so don't worry about it.

ALSO, google products that you can purchase at your local rite aid, bartells, walgreens, etc.
i'm sure there's something you can use.

Try using Secret Clinical Strength. It's an amazing product and everyone I know that uses it (including myself) has had excellent results. Typical useage is applying it at night (and/or after a shower) and using a regular deoderant if you feel that you need to.

If this still doesn't help, you might need to see a doctor who can discuss other options with you. However, you're probably fine. A lot of people sweat (especially teenagers) and stressing about it will only make you sweat MORE!

Did you always have this problem or has it started recently? Does it only occur when you are exerting yourself or do you sweat when you at rest?
