E-mail service

Question Posted Wednesday April 1 2009, 7:37 pm

Which is the best free e-mail server? I have verizon so, I could use verizon.net. I was also wondering if you could give me pros and con to each. Thanks a ton!
~Sky
ps. I am using Gmail, and was wondering if there was a better server out there.

I use Fastmail.fm paid email, but if I didn't use that I would use Gmail. It has a nice interface and spam filter, but it doesn't have all of the features I want.

GMX has a neat interface, but it's a bit slow:

Lycos is also ok:

I wouldn't use Yahoo or Live because they put an advertisement in all of the email you send. It looks really unprofessional.

I usually use Yahoo!, but just recently switched to Gmail. You can join Yahoo, obviously by going to www.yahoo.com & creating an account. :) It also qualifies you for Yahoo! Messenger if you'd like to download that too.
