Fuzzy hair

Question Posted Sunday March 22 2009, 5:17 pm

When my hair dries its fuzzy and frizzy with wild random waves. I've used every serum, gel, mousse, shampoo, cream, and conditioner I can find to fix it- nothing makes much of a difference. Even the color looks funny until I flat iron it.

What can I do to get my hair soft and smooth when it dries naturally?

If you can afford it, I suggest getting it chemically straightened with the Japanese method of hair straightening. It will change your life! lol
This is also known as Thermal Reconditioning.

You have to shop around - you will find the price varies by quite a lot. Do a search on Rusk Thermal STR8, Yuko, Thermal Ionic, Lliscio & Optismooth. Look at the before and after pictures. You will be amazed. Depending on how curly your hair is, it will need to be retouched for the new growth.

My hair is similar to yours, (uneven waves, frizzy) and I only get it retouched yearly. What I spend on getting it done, I save in hair products, styling tools, and time.

Have you tried horse conditioner?
They have varities that are used for people as well as the horse.

I've heard that it can really help.

usually if you blow dry it and brush it before it dries it will be softer. as for the frizz, have you tries bed head after party or paul mitchell super skinny serum? those both work for me. they're about $15-$18. its worth it though. and also try this spray from vo5 (i forgot the name but it says what it does on the bottle) before straightening your hair it will keep the frizz away. and try to keep your hair out of the sun before straightening. cause once the frizz comes it doesn't go away.

good luck.
