how to be a better cheerleader?

i am scared i am not going to make high school cheer... i need to get me jumps higher... do you have any advice of how to get all my jumps higher???? i sit in my splits EVERY day and it doesnt help that much... i am in competitive cheer and they help mw alot with my jumps but i just cant gett them higher and i practice on my trampoline and it kinda helps and i am going to start that strech that you said to do and hopefully it will help but in my prep when i hit my T one arm ios higher then the other... do you know any suggstions for me???? thanks!!!!!

Do the stretch it helps!!! Trust me! Splits don't work. They only work for like gymnastics jumps! For the arms, squeeze them as much as you can! Do straight jumps and make sure your arms are in the right place! After about 30 -45 of those add your legs. If you feel your arms going up, take away the legs and just work on your arms. Eventually the will stick in the right place! Good luck and keep me updated on how it goes!!!
