whats up with the awkwardness?

ive known my new friend for 3 months and we get along and everything, but the thing is we seem to have an awkwardness when we talk, most of the time, like we never know what to talk about kinda feeling is this normal or no?

I totally agree with Jack. You and your new friend have only been friends for 3 months, so your still getting to know each other. It's definately normal for there to be awkward moments in your conversations. But as the two of you get closer the weirdness won't happen as often.
No worries, you and your friend are just in that normal "get to know you" stage! Hope you guys stay friends for a long time!!!

Yeah, it's totally normal.

I sometimes still have that awkwardness with friends I've had for several years.

Eventually it fades as you become better friends.
