okay im 13 and i kinda like this boy, and he
says hes likes me. he even asked me to the movies
he tells me hes gonna call me, but doesnt, do i text
him to try to start a convo or does it seem like he
doesnt like me idk?

Text him. It sounds like he at least likes you as a friend. Don't overload on the texts, though, it might intimidate him.

I say text him first. Calling may seem like a little to much at least from my opinion. But if you two are really into eachother, then i would call. But don't keep constantly calling and texting. That can get annoying to some people.

If he likes you and you like him, why not? And texting him first will show that you're confident enough to start a conversation with him and make the first move.

If he say's he likes you and asks you to the movies..he obviously does like you! The not calling thing could be anything. Yes it is rude of him..but he could be too busy, he could be waiting for YOU to call, he could forget (Some guys do..), etc. You should try calling him and maybe even ask (if you want to) why he doesn't call you. Who knows..maybe he get's shy talking you so he doesn't call and is waiting for you to.
