Myrrha answered Thursday March 19 2009, 3:24 am: i wouldn't advise that. when your vagina is drier, the tampons won't go in as easy. When your menstuating, the tampons go in much easier. When you use it, slide the applicator along the bottom wall of your vagina, so it is pointing to your lower back. You'll get plenty of practice the first period you use them. Also, make sure to wear a panty liner and change the tampon every 4 hrs to 6 hrs. Tampons are definitely not leak proof, and some brands work better then others.
