i play/partipate in a lot of sports and have been using tampons for the last 5 years. i've had sex with my boyfriend at the begining of feb but not been able to since i bled for about 20 mins? (not t sure) but is thre anyway that i can make sure i don't bleed next time?!

Unless said bleeding happens more than once you won't need an OB/GYN appointment to see that everything is okay. Use the above document to determine that. When you have intercourse make sure you are fully aroused and your vagina is lubricated. If you don't it will hurt, cause friction, possible tearing etc. etc. That may be the root of your problem.
