i need to get back in into hot mail

i am having a problem to get back into hot mail

If you have not used the hotmail within a certain period of time (I dont know the exact amount, roughly 4/5 months) it will be deactivated.

If its not working because you cant remember your password/username as its an old account, then click forgot username/password and it will ask you a security questions, or ask you for the alternate email you used when signing up.

Please be a little more specific about why you cant get into your email, and maybe myself and others can help better.
