combining words for a story for school
I am trying to combine two words together: human and vampire and I can't seem to come up with the right word that makes it sound like it is crused. If you can think of anything that would be really great, if not that's cool too.

I know Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series had a name for half-human and half-vampire. I can't remember what it was.
