I've had highlights and lowlights, the whole 9 yards. So if you would like to dye your whole head completely with the same color you used for your highlights, you most definitely can. The only thing is if you still have the highlights in your hair there's a 90% chance that since your hair is darker naturally you will see your roots when they grow in and the already highlighted parts are not going to show up as the same shade as the rest of your head. They will be a few shades lighter. For example, I am a dirty blonde with beige blonde highlights, everytime i get them re-done, the spots that were previously died gradually get lighter, and in some spots the hair is almost bleach blonde(which is a big difference from beige) Sorry so long. Hope I helped. [ imgnnamakeudance's advice column | Ask imgnnamakeudance A Question ]

Just keep in mind that when you completely dye your hair a specific color your natural roots are going to be more apparent once they start to grow back in. When you have just highlights and/or low lights it's not as noticeable, but as long as you keep it up, you should be fine and look great! :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
