I've been tanning latley for my prom. It's this saturday..i'm getting pretty dark..but it seem's like my front side is darker than my back side. i use a tanning maximizer that they gave me the first time i tanned. i always lay on my back..am i maybe doing something wrong?

And, both of my sides aren't even tan at all. If I were you I wouldn't use the tanning maximizer. I've never been one for any sort of creames, except after tanning cream which you should use just because it can really dry out your skin. When I asked the lady in my salon, she said that throughout the session, I need to switch the sides I lay on. If you're not too worried about your sides, then you should lay on your back for half of the time you're in the bed and the other half lay on your stomach. If you do it yourself, you're probably not able to really reach behind and cover your back entirely and put a good amount on. Before you leave to go tanning, have someone put on lotion/maximizer on your back or even at the tanning salon, if they could do it for you there.
