My German Musician
Ok abouta year ago this guy messaged me on myspace. I went to his page and decided that I didn't know him so I just told him that I didn't know him and then ignored him.
A year passes by and about a half of a month ago he messaged me again. He said "I like it to write to u because u had my old url and I thought that maybe we could be friends". So I did some research on him.
I looked on his myspace and learned that it was a musician's account. He is a musician and he lives in Germany.(I listened to some of his songs and they really aren't that bad. I especially liked travelogue and hard to be a girl).
I can hear the german in his voice (for some reason he likes to sing in english better?) and so I'm pretty sure that he is actually not a 40 yr old rapist from Alabama that is putting on a show. I went to his youtube account and looked at his pictures, everything seems legit.
But here's the catch. I'm 16 and my myspace says that. He is 26, which I learned from his youtube account. That is a 10 year difference. While I don't believe that he is a rapist, I also can't imagine why he would be talking to me. He keeps starting conversations and asking about my interests and stuff. My pictures on myspace aren't like the hottest pictures ever or anything and he doesn't hint at anything like that. I'm actually pretty bitchy to him because I still don't trust him.
So my question is, what are his motives? I'm pretty sure he isn't a rapist so don't suggest it. I still have it as a possibility so don't worry. Maybe he just wants a fanbase? I have no idea. If anyone could help me figure out why he is bothering to talk to me then please it would be extremely helpful. I have been racking my brain and I still can not figure him out.

You can see for yourself that he seems harmless. Also he's extremely nice and sweet in his messages. He calls me "fraulein" and he always wonders about how I am doing and stuff.
So in conclusion, what do you think is driving him to talk to me? Tell me if you need more information.

Does he know how old you are? I would cut off communication with him. You are considered a child if you are under the age of 18. Besides, what possible interest could a grown man have in a child? This doesn't sound wholesome to me.
Pedophiles are out there in numbers. Please, be very careful as they are shrewd and crafty and will never let you know their true intentions unless they truly believe they can get away with it.

Well, sometimes, people are naturally friendly.. Can easily trust people, and so on.. Yes, I tend to be one of those people sometimes as well... It's great that you mention he might be a rapist, because it shows you aren't naive or anything. Just don't give TOO much info out to him.. don't have too much info on your myspace.. you'd be amazed at the things people go through just to stalk someone lol... be careful... his motives can be either just wanting to add a new friend and fan into his life... or maybe malicious intentions.. only you must go with your gut feeling. good luck!
