BahaiMa22 answered Sunday February 22 2009, 6:32 pm: Turning clothing inside out is optional, Some people do it to avoid any lint or stains getting on there clothing. You do not have to turn your clothing inside out when you do laundry.
LM answered Sunday February 22 2009, 6:14 pm: You don't have to. In most cases it isn't necessary (normal jeans will be unaffected no matter what way they are washed). The only time it's really necessary is if you're washing a sweater - especially knitted ones- or if your clothes have decorations such as sequins/glitter. If you still aren't sure, turn it inside out- all it'll do is take up some time. :]
