okay so you look like a cool person to ask this to. I'm 14f and me and my friend cate have been BEST friends for 8 years. I moved 4 years ago, but it feels like i still live near her cause we're still bff. now she got this 18 year old bf that is luring her in the wrong direction. First, she starting smoking and smoking pot. WE EVEN MADE A PROMISE TOGETHER THAT WE WOULDN'T EVER TOUCH THAT KINd OF STUFF. AND I DON'T. now i found out she is have sex w/ him. I feel abondoned like i'm i don't fit in w/ her anymore cause i don't do that kind of stuff. I have caught her in lies where she told me that she was grounded when really she was hanging out w/ with her bf. Should i tell her parents whats going on?! should i stop being her friend?

A real best friend is somebody thats there for you through everything, right? So dont leave her that will just cause LOTS of problems. Im assuming thats shes 14 as well. Hes 18. not only is that statutory rape it is DEFINITELY against the law. I hate to say it but hes just using her because shes young and easy to get to. Not saying anything about your age group but i know how i was at that age. Talk to her and tell her how it makes you feel, Just be like im your best friend and i dont think what your doing is a good idea, i want whats best for you but i really dont want you to end up hurt. Shes going to flip and think your just jealous and all that stuff. Don't argue with her just lay it out and be like im here for you but i dont want to feel like im put aside and and not as important. Don't tell her parents though she'll think you betrayed her. Hope i helped if you need anything else just ask. [ Xo_Blondii_oX's advice column | Ask Xo_Blondii_oX A Question ]
