ok so im having difficulty finding my bra size. My measurments are (in inches, measured using a tape measure):
Frame Size (under breasts) = 28
Around Chest (around breasts) = 32 or 33
According to my measurments, some websites say im a b, some say im a c, some say d. so im really confused. ive been wearing a 34 b for years, and havnt measured till now. Can anyone help? Thanks!
(im 15 years old, btw, if it helps)

DzeeAnn answered Monday February 23 2009, 3:09 pm: I am taking the follwing information directly from the Sears catalogue. They have precise information on how to measure for proper bra sizes. Also, if you have a Sears store in your area, they measure you properly for bras free of charge. Here is their info:
Band Size:
Measure around the ribe cage, underneath the bust. Take the measurement to the next largest inch if it falls between whole inches.
Add 4 inches to this measurement if it is an even number:
Add 5 inches to this measurement if it is an odd number:
Example: Your measurement is 31(uneven number) so add 5 which gives you 36.
Example: Your measurment is is 32 (even number) so add 4 which gives you 36.
Cup size:
Wearing your best fitting bra, measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Calculate your Cup size by subtracting the Band size from the bust measurement. The difference in inches will determine the Cup size. Refer to Bra sizing chart for proper cup size (bra sizing chart coming up)
Example: If your bust size is 39 inches substract your band size - 36 = 3 so 39 - 36 = 3
Bra sizing chart:
Cup size Differences in inches
AA 0
A 1
B 2
C 3
D 4
DD 5
F(DDD) 6
G 7
H 8
I 9
I hope this answers your questions. Good Luck and go have your measurement taking at Sears store if you have one in your area. I took my measurements at home using this guide then went to get measured at Sears and this guide was dead on. We had come up with the same bra size. Always fit the bra on the loosest hook, so that over time when the elastic weakens it can be tightened. Remember that the breasts are meant to be supported by the chest, not hung on the shoulders.
Hope you find a comfortable one! [ BrokenWings's advice column | Ask BrokenWings A Question ]
