Dear Valentines day trouble, first congrats on the new relationship. Second, before you wreck your brain on what to buy him try to understand the basics of guys. The basics that I am referring to is that they would rather be the givers in the relationships its in their nature. Since you have just started dating him go the unique route. You always want to be different from the next chic. The typical chic will buy clothing cologne but the one who stands out will plan a romantic event like a indoor picnic or a simple item for the first letter of his name. Just be creative and he will appreciate it more than a typical gift. Try it! Good skills and God Bless!

Maybe you could talk to him about what he likes, ect. Maybe music? Maybe you guys can take a picture together sometime and then put it in a cute frame. You can be creative and get him a cute card since you guys just started going out. If you like baking then maybe little heart cookies would be cute too. Good luck! I hope this helped a little.

Well here is one idea for you. It is pretty romantic (kind of corny). But when I was a junior in high school for valentine's day I went to the pet store and bought one of those cheap betta fishes and got a little fish tank then cooked him dinner and had a fire place going (and my mom and brother left the a few hours so we had the house to ourselves) and i set the fish bowl in the middle of the table and wrote on construction paper all cute and nice "Out of all the fish in the sea, you're the one for me" and I named the fish Kevin (which was my boyfriends name at the time) then we listened to music, drank wine, danced and had a great night! That is just a little idea.

But remember (and everyone tells me this) that valentine's day is for the girls! but i like doing stuff for my man so i always try and do something for my boyfriend on valentine's day.

but what i really think would be good for you (in case you don't like the fish idea (even though i think it's really cute)) is maybe just rent a movie, order take out (if you don't want to cook) and watch a movie and just cuddle and relax together. as long as your alone with your significant other on valentine's day, that's all that should matter.

Well if you don't know him well enough... talk to him! Ask him about things he likes and stuff like that. It can only help.
