BahaiMa22 answered Wednesday February 4 2009, 8:43 am: It all depends,
Some guys mature than others,If you are talking about relationship wise than yes indeed it is a big age differnce. Dating anyone under the age of 18 is concidered illegal in alot of states.
Being friends with someone of that age, I would say is appropriate as long as it doesnt' go any further and is strickly friends.
Bella12 answered Wednesday February 4 2009, 12:07 am: Its not about the years inbetween. Its about how much you have growna nd he ahs grown. You may not know it now, but you are not done growing emotionally mentally or physically. He is very close to being there. If you were 21 and he were 25 than that would be fine because you will both be on the same level. Even if you think your on the same level as him now you wont be in 4 or 5 years and your relationship rather good or bad will be suffering. So enjoy being young and wait. If in 5 years you and him are still single and you still talk, than get to know him. But not right now its too early! [ Bella12's advice column | Ask Bella12 A Question ]
Matt answered Tuesday February 3 2009, 11:58 pm: Here's a good rule when it comes to age differences. Take the guy's age and subtract your age from it. Whatever is left, subtract that from your age. Now imagine you had a child at that age.
Would you be able to take care of a baby at that age? No? Then that is a big age difference.
