my boyfriend's shy...
i don't think he's prude ... because he has no problem with kissing me, but i'm curious because whenever i joke around about perverted things [nothing too intense lol... just the normal jokes] he always just says 'lol' but never really talks about anything like that. i'm not asking him to be PERVERTED, but maybe it's that i need to unprude him? i don't really know, i don't want to scare him away by taking things to the next level. [i hope most of you know what i'm trying to say.]
what should i do to make him unshy but ... not scare him too much?

try making him feel more comfortable around you so he can open up more. like asking his opinion on something ud usually ask someone else about. take a drive with him and just talk about nothing, invite him over to your house and just watch movies. anything involving low pressure. it may take a while, but he will open up to you. just lay low on any sexual motions(if you know what i mean)

Perhaps he comes from a household where sexuality and any let alone crude, humorous etc. reference isn't made. It's either that or maybe even a cultural thing.
The best thing to do is tell him that you've always been allowed to talk about it, joke etc, or be a little crass. Ask if this offends him or if he feels awkward or shy or flustered. maybe he doesn't know what to make of it or your knowledge.
Find out. Let him know it's okay for him to open up and leave it at that. He's no less interested in you than before either sexually or in general. Don't worry and don't rush him. You have loads of time for him to get comfortable. BTW, is this a NEW relationship. That would explain his behavior.
