teeth whitening

Question Posted Monday January 19 2009, 3:43 pm

I dont have severly yellow teeth, but they could definitely be whiter. What products could I use to whiten them? I want to use crest white strips but I have braces so I dont know if it will work.

okay, i just got my braces off the 5th. and i've been useing the brest white strips. they're amazing. they work very well. and/or you can get there professionally bleached by the dentist.yet the downfall on that is that its pretty expensive, anywhere from 300-500 dollars. depending on where you go really.
DO NOT TRY TO USE ANY WHITENING KIT OR BLEACHING KIT OF ANY SORT WHILE HAVING YOUR BRACES ON.
for it'll just make it more obvious that you used to have braces.
and you'll be able to see where your braces were.
but i definitly suggest the white strips./

After your braces come off, definitely use Crest White Strips (best brand) unless you want to do Laser Whitening professionally at the dentist's.

I would wait to whiten your teeth until after the braces are off, because you'll end up with yellow spots. For now, just brush your teeth with normal toothpaste & do what your dentist/orthodontist recommends.
