Ebay Shopping

Question Posted Friday January 16 2009, 6:40 pm

I want to purchase a iPod Touch 16GB for a reasonable cost and that is cheaper than buying a brand new one from Apple or Walmart.

When people say "Brand new" or "Not Open" I'm curious...why do they have a brand new ipod? Are they fake or what?

Also kind of key hints that help me buy a good iPod and avoid the bad products?

When they say brand new/unopened they mean its either stolen or a gift they received but didnt want! you are safe with payment though as you can complain to ebay/paypal. one sure fire way to see if its stolen is to see how many of the product the person has! also ask the person if its still under warranty

a brand new ipod was maybe stolen, or doesnt work with their computer, but it usually is a lie. dont buy if it is rediculously low-priced and make sure there is a picture that looks like it was taken by them, not downloaded from the website. ebay can go either way, so you have to be cautious. if you can, read the seller reviews on the person.
