JustSomeone answered Friday January 16 2009, 11:40 am: a lot of times they sell packs with 3 sizes. usually "regular" "super" and "ultra" or something like that. so you could buy that to know you have whatever size you're going to need! so depending on how heavy your period is then you can decide which one to use. if its light use regular, if its a little heavier use super, and if its really heavy or bad use the ultra! gr8fruit answered Thursday January 15 2009, 11:53 pm: First, you may have to know how much you bleed, and then find the absorbancy level that suits you on the side of the box. or Just know, if you bleed a little only use a light tampon, or if you bleed lots, use a higher absorbancy tampon. Believe me, you will know if you need a higher absorbancy then the one you chose if you bleed through after only a short period of time. If you do bleed a fair amount you could also change tampons more often, at a low absorbancy level if you have the patience. Always use the lowest absorbancy level possible for yourself. Soon enough you will find which size/absorbancy suits you best just by trying what you think will work, and going from there.
Hope I helped :) Good Luck [ gr8fruit's advice column | Ask gr8fruit A Question ]
