Yeah but really though? A lot of your laws and views held by politicians (admittedly i am talking about the republicans) about homosexuality, abortion etc are are entirely ruled by christian ideas, rather than a philosophical or general ethical ideas.

I understand that a major percentage of americans are Christian, but surely their beliefs shouldn't govern the rights of others.
