alright well im auditioning for a performing arts school and i really want a dramatic monolouge. preferbly nothing from shakespeare and its got to be from a play

well, a good dramatic piece is Going Crazy. It is about a kid named ted in a mental institution and a new guy comes and Ted tells the new kid everything there is to know. It is sad, yet funny. GOING CRAZY is a good piece

It saddens me to think you want to stray from the perfect dramatics of Shakespeare, however the best alternative I can think of it "Waiting for Godot"- it's a Samuel Beckett play and one of the best pieces for drawn out monologues I can think of. Good luck!
