what was the reason you broke up? maybe thats what the "shit" he's taking about is.
or was it a pretty rough break up? maybe he means that when you two calm down and have some time away from each other, then you can try again
or maybe he's just saying that so you'll stop bugging him about getting back together. Who knows. but those would be my best guesses. If you really want to know what he meant than you should ask him and he may or may not give an honest answer but you probably have a better chance of him telling you what he meant than people on here. If that makes any sense haha.
