well the thing is...i don't even know why she broke up with me?! all i know is that she ended it ONLINE..because she 'never felt right'..have no idea what that means..and by the way this was over a year ago when me and her went out..lasted just about a month..damn I'm still hooked on her and she's moved on. Oh and sometime in January, we both just stopped talking because she moved on, and I still hadn't. Eventually I did. But around summertime we started talking again, and she became one of my great friends, and then the feelings came rushing back. Plus, I think we'd both find the situation awkward if I randomly came up with the topic that I want to get back with her, I mean, we don't even talk about the topic of relationships, I'm just one of her "best guy friends" ahh and that doesn't help! But ever since she's broken up with her last ex (which was about two weeks ago) she's started to talk to me more often. Ahhhh! I don't know what to doooo!

SWEETXLOVE answered Monday December 22 2008, 5:25 pm: well she could of started talking to you more because you are one of her best friends. i started talking to my best guy friend after i broke up with my boyfriend. it was because i knew i could talk to him. i mean yes, i broke up with him but we were going out for a year and half, so it was difficult. i just needed someone there, i needed someone who was going to listen and he was the one who understood me. maybe she does just want to be friends, but you will never know if you dont bring it up. i know, it might be weird and awkward. but if she starts talking about boys, just say something like "why did we ever break up anyways..?" and if she says like well i dont know.. just say "well there has to be a reason" and ask her what didnt feel right. and now since you guys are so close, it could be different and tell her that. i know how hard this is, i'm going through something similar and it does suck, so bad! don't be discouraged though. ♥ LU [ SWEETXLOVE's advice column | Ask SWEETXLOVE A Question ]
