I'm from India.i have a scanned copy saved in gif format. i want to convert this into word file using a software. is it possible? if so, how...pls help...

You cannot scan something and transfer it into text on your computer.

Our technology isn't that far yet,I'm afraid you'll have to copy the text by typing it yourself. =(
